Operating under multiple aliases including the legendary Planetary Assault Systems, the dub-influenced L.B. Dub Corp, and the ambient-focused 7th Plain, Slater has released groundbreaking music on labels from Peacefrog and NovaMute and his own Mote-Evolver imprint, which celebrated its 70th release in 2024. His 2024 album "Saturn to Home" on Dekmantel featuring collaborations with Robert Owens, Paul St. Hilaire, and Kittin; while 2025's "Reassembled" compilation showcased his ongoing influence on contemporary techno. 2026 sees Slater return as Planetary Assault Systems on Ostgut Ton. On "Planetary People" he continues to refine the alias with  a patient, exploratory approach, allowing ideas to evolve between the studio and the dancefloor.
